Electrical contractor in Idaho Falls

Scott Lind Electric is a licensed commercial electrical contractor working across Idaho Falls, Ammon and eastern Idaho — ground-up construction, tenant remodels, service calls, parking lot and security lighting, building maintenance and LED conversions, at a competitive rate.

We run small on purpose. You talk to the person doing the work, the schedule doesn't get handed off, and when your building has a problem at 6am you are not customer number four hundred.

For property & business owners

Downtime is the real cost

A dark parking lot, a dead cooler circuit, a failed inspection holding your opening — we prioritise the work that keeps you closed.

Commercial capabilities

New construction

Service entrance through final trim on ground-up commercial buildings, coordinated with your GC and inspection schedule.

Tenant remodels

Re-lighting, re-circuiting and re-feeding a space for its next use — often phased so the neighbouring units keep trading.

Parking lot light repair

Pole lights, wall packs and the underground feeds nobody wants to chase. Dark lots are a liability — we fix them, including after close.

Security lighting

Install and repair for floodlights, wall packs, motion sensors and dusk-to-dawn photocells — around entrances, yards, loading areas and blind corners.

Signs, canopies & menu boards

Illuminated signs, channel letters, pylon signs, fuel-station canopies and drive-thru menu boards — power runs, LED retrofits and the repairs that bring a dark sign back.

LED conversions

Retrofit or full fixture replacement across shops, warehouses and lots — less maintenance, better light, lower draw.

Building maintenance & repair

Ongoing electrical maintenance for a building you own or manage: panel work, circuit additions for new equipment, failing fixtures and the running repairs that keep an older building operating.

Industrial

Equipment feeds, three-phase work and shop electrical for the machines your operation runs on.

Commercial questions

How big a project can you take?

Commercial projects of any size or type, from a single circuit to a building wired from the ground up. If a job is genuinely outside what we should take on, we'll say so.

Can you work outside business hours?

Yes. We are open 24 hours Monday to Saturday, so shutdowns, lot lighting and anything that would interrupt trading can be scheduled after close or before opening. We are closed Sunday.

Are estimates really free?

Yes — we walk the job, scope it and price it before any commitment, at no charge.

Do you work with general contractors?

Regularly. We coordinate with other trades and hold our part of the schedule — the reason GCs call us back.

Bidding a project?

Send the plans or walk us through the building. Estimates are free.
