After-hours electrical emergency? We answer the phone, Monday to Saturday. Idaho Falls & Ammon · No service-call fee within 30 miles 208.716.1240

Scott Lind Electric LLC · Idaho Falls The name on the van answers the phone

Scott Lind Electric is a state-licensed electrical contractor based on Taylor Avenue in Idaho Falls, working across residential, commercial and industrial jobs throughout eastern Idaho.

The whole company is built on one decision: take the small jobs. Most electricians won't drive across town for a single dead outlet — there is a subdivision to wire and the math doesn't work. We took the other view. Fix the small thing well, and when something serious happens in that house or that building, there is no question who gets the call.

That is also why there is no service-call fee inside 30 miles, why estimates are free, and why the phone gets answered after hours. Not marketing — just the only way the promise holds up.

How we work

Diagnose first

We find out what actually failed before quoting a repair. Guessing is expensive for both of us.

Price before tools

You know the scope and the number before anything is opened up.

Say the honest thing

Including "that can wait", "you don’t need us for that", or "today isn’t realistic".

Leave it to code

Permitted and inspected where required, and correct where nobody will ever look.

Who calls us

Three kinds of customer

Homeowners
who have been told their job is too small, or who need it fixed today.

Business & property owners
who cannot afford a dark lot, a dead circuit or a failed inspection.

General contractors
who need an electrical sub that holds the schedule and answers the phone.

Try us on something small.

That's the whole pitch.
